BRANDED PODCAST SEEKS PEOPLE WHO CHALLENGE TRADITIONAL GENDER ROLES

Pays $3000 to $5000 / Open to applicants in or near Toronto

A branded podcast series seeks individuals who defy traditional gender roles at work, home, or elsewhere – and who experience awkward reactions, silly questions, or bad jokes as a result.

We’re looking for:

  • Women who are the primary breadwinners for their household
  • Men in traditionally “female” jobs and women in typically “male” ones
  • Singles confronting outdated gender attitudes

  • Anyone experiencing “gendered” responses to how they live or work

Participants won’t be asked to share their last name or their workplace on the podcast, but their photo may be used on social media or elsewhere to promote it. They’ll receive $3,000 for a half day that includes an interview and still photo shoot, and an extra $2,000 if they’re asked and agree to do additional publicity for the project.
